Booking-first salon site, 3 pages
Tools Used
The Client
Lune Nail Bar is a concept brand I created to show what a modern salon website can look like: a calm nail studio in Los Angeles offering manicures, pedicures, extensions and nail art. It isn’t a paying client. I built it as a demo, so the business name, reviews and contact details are placeholders.
The Challenge
Most salon sites make booking harder than it should be. Prices sit in a PDF, technician levels are never explained, and the Book button disappears once you scroll. A nail client wants three answers fast: what it costs, how long it lasts, and when they can get in. The site had to answer all three before a visitor thought about leaving.
What We Built Together
I built a three-page site (Home, Services and Contact) in Next.js and deployed it on Vercel. The homepage opens with a new-client offer and the signature gel manicure with its price, then backs it up with three proof points: a four-week gel wear guarantee, three technician levels to suit different budgets, and seven-day opening hours.
The service menu is split into manicure, extensions, nail art and pedicure, and each one links straight from the homepage. Every review is tagged with the service that client booked, and a Book now button stays within reach from the header to the footer. The visual direction is quiet on purpose, with plenty of space, soft type and a short lowercase wordmark, so the site feels like the studio it describes.
The work.
The Results
Lune is live as a working demo. It gives salon owners something concrete to react to: pricing, guarantees and reviews doing the selling before a client ever picks up the phone. The same structure can be rebuilt around a real studio’s menu, technicians and booking tool.
What's Possible
For a real salon, the next step is plugging in a live booking system like Fresha, Vagaro or Square Appointments, so clients can pick a technician and a time slot without leaving the site.
